The rough coastline runs on both sides of the house, small isolated beaches can be reached by footpath. About 1500m away there's a larger beach (Koraka Beach) as well as a cafe, some tavernas are nearby. From here on the road leads up to the village of Rodakino with its cafeneion and grocer's shop. |
Except tracks across the fields, sheep and several beehives there's nearly nothing around indicating any civilisation. Cretes' rough nature is prevailing with its rocks, hills and meadows. Laurel is growing right next to the house, multitudes of herbs and flowers - according to the seasons - may be found, the delightful scenery has many surprises waiting for you. |
The house offers four studios for two persons each as well as one for three persons. They are equipped with private bathroom, kitchenette and balkony with direct sea view. The larger studio is equipped with an additional balkony next to the entrance. The rooms are located at the first floor, they are light and well-tended. Behind the house at the end of a small meadow there's some seating - the sea at the bottom - with perfect view. |

Because of the places' remoteness (see the map) the use of a car is recommended which may also be helpful to get here from Heraklions airport. | ||
